8 Free Homeschool Resources
Whether you are just starting out homeschooling or have been homeschooling for years this list of 10 free homeschool resources is for you! I started putting together lists of resources because if I was to let it homeschooling would be extremely expensive, but it doesn't have to be!
This just dive right in! Today's list has some curriculum and curriculum helpers.
I absolutely LOVE teachers pay teachers. You can find so many free resources for all ages. I have used this site when planning my co-op classes, putting together literature tests and projects and even planning holidays. They do have some things that you pay for but I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases. It is free to sign up.
You can check out Scholastic website in their Teaching Tools Section. It is full of ideas, book lists and classroom activities.
This site is awesome! Sightwords has a bunch of teaching activities and materials to help with early literacy. Sight words can help children to recognize common words. Just a side note suggestion...don't use this as a know all of learning to read. Kiddos need to know how to learn to read phonetically too.
Daily Grammar has a list of archives that contain free grammar lessons
If you choose to do copywriting you will find it time consuming to create printables, well at least I did lol this site has a ton of printables you can use already made for you.
This one is my all time favorite for language arts. We have been using it and will continue all the way to high school. Only up to 6th grade is free. You should definitely check them out here.
Starting at preschool and going to graduation this free curriculum can be used. It is flexible and can be used as your only curriculum or as just a supplemental resource. You can get it here.
